Ability Rise Accommodation and Care was founded by experienced Social Workers who care and are committed to provide a holistic care to individuals living with disabilities and complex needs.

We're not a large company - but a group of tight-knit specialists who feel blessed to be able to wake up each morning and do what we love.


Rujun Yi

Co-Founder/Managing Director

Having completed a Master of Social Work and Graduate Certificate in Loss, Grief and Trauma Counselling at Flinders University Rujun meet the eligibility criteria for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers and she has gained Australian Association of Social Workers (SA Branch) Ethics in Placement Annual Prize 2016 for best identification and discussion of an ethical dilemma in final placement.

Rujun is also an Accredited Mental Health Social worker with AASW and certified Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Instructor.

Rujun has been working with individuals and families identified as or at risk of social exclusion and disadvantage for the past of eight years. During this period, she has encountered people across a range of age groups with complex health and social care needs from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, including working with elderly and people with disabilities.

About Ability Rise Accommodation and Care

Ability Rise Accommodation and Care has been established in response to local community demand for culturally informed, person-centered disability support services.


The primary focus of the organization is to assist participants in the access to the National Disability Insurance Agency NDIA, choose their supports, provide them with opportunities and services to achieve their goals.


The primary intent of this policy is to ensure that services that are provided to participants are consistent with the Principles and Objectives enshrined in Commonwealth and State disability services legislation, which is the basis on which disability services are funded and provided.



Ability Rise Accommodation and Care’s services include:
